Let me start by saying, I go see live music for the same reason as everyone else… to talk to my friends.
What’s up with all the shushing? The other night, four different people shushed us. Rude librarians. We pay good money to attend these shows and shouldn’t be shushed just for debating the local IPA.
And all the dancing? Seriously? I’m just trying to complain about my drive and explain precisely where I parked, but I have to be disturbed by someone almost bumping into me?
I get it, “the band’s on.” No shit the bands on. Why do you think Chad had to scream to tell us he saw someone he thought he knew in the lobby?
If you just want to listen to the music, consider staying home with your AirPods. The rest of us who genuinely desire to be at the show – so that we can post we were at the show – just want to socialize in peace without all the shushing.
Mic drop.
